The right unit, at the right place, on time. Every time.
Need something functional, clean, and delivered without complications?
Our standard units arrive sanitized, stocked, and ready to use. We handle delivery and pickup — you handle everything else.
Outdoor weddings are stunning. A bad restroom situation is the detail guests remember most.
From tasteful standard coverage to luxury restroom trailers with climate control and running water — we help you match the restroom experience to the event. Your guests deserve better than a porta potty they're embarrassed to use.
Not every portable restroom has to feel portable.
Our restroom trailers include interior lighting, climate control, flushing fixtures, running water, and finishes that match the event's tone. Nobody walks away disappointed.
Job sites have their own set of demands — volume, compliance, and consistency.
We structure construction rentals around your project schedule, not a one-size billing template. Weekly service, flexible add-ons, and easy adjustments when your timeline shifts.
Accessible sanitation isn't optional at most permitted events and active job sites.
Our ADA-compliant units provide the required space, grab bars, and turning radius. Available solo or as part of a mixed-unit rental setup.
Here's how Portable Potties White operates in The Dalles, OR:
Know your headcount and how long people will be on-site. These two numbers are the primary drivers of unit count. A 3-hour afternoon party for 60 people has different needs than an 8-hour outdoor event for the same crowd.
Think about the drop-off surface. Units need flat, stable ground. Concrete, asphalt, and compacted gravel all work. If your only option is soft lawn or a slope, mention it when booking.
Decide placement before delivery day. Having a clear plan speeds up the driver's work and gets your site set faster. Think about guest flow, visibility, and truck access from the street.
Factor in hand-washing. A portable restroom paired with a standalone hand-washing station is a much better experience than a unit alone — especially at food-serving events.
Book ahead for weekend events. In The Dalles, peak season weekends — particularly May through September — fill delivery slots fast. Two weeks' notice for events is ideal.
The most common miscalculation people make when renting portable restrooms? They estimate low.
It's easy to do. You picture your guest list and assume you can get away with fewer units. Then the event is three hours in, the lines are forming, and guests are talking about it.
The general rule of thumb: one standard portable toilet per 50 guests for events up to 4 hours. For events running 6–8 hours, plan closer to one unit per 35 guests. If you're serving alcohol — which accelerates restroom usage significantly — add at least one additional unit per 75 guests.
For construction and work sites in The Dalles, OR, OSHA recommends at least one facility per 20 workers on standard 8–10 hour shifts. Longer shifts, larger crews, or hot weather conditions push that number up.
The goal isn't to have the maximum number of units on-site — it's to have enough that no guest or crew member has to wait long or feel uncomfortable. At Portable Potties White, we'd rather spend a few minutes talking through your situation than have you come back to us after an event with a regret.
"Booked two units for a graduation party in The Dalles and the whole thing was seamless. Clean, on time, picked up the next morning. Would absolutely use again."
"We've used Portable Potties White for three events in The Dalles, OR now. Consistent every time — which is exactly what you want when you're coordinating a lot of moving parts."
For standard events, 48–72 hours is usually enough — though same-day may be available depending on inventory. For larger events or peak weekends in The Dalles, OR, booking 1–2 weeks ahead is the safest approach.
Only human waste and toilet paper belong in the tank. No wet wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or any food waste. This keeps the unit functioning and sanitary throughout your rental in The Dalles.
